Once you have completed your OPC Time Monitor configuration, you save your
configuration and make it active. The OPC Time Monitor configuration tool is just that - a configuration tool. It does not need to be running for the OPC Time
Monitor to be in operation. For this reason, after you are done setting up your configuration, it is best to save it, mark your configuration as active, and exit the
configuration tool to insure that changes you have made will be used by the OPC server the next time a client connects to it.
To save your configuration, click on the File menu from the OPC Time Monitor
user interface. Then click "Make Active" to make your configuration active. The next time the OPC Time Monitor starts, it will use your configuration.
You are now ready to connect to the OPC Time Monitor with your OPC client application.
